Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 26-95 for the furnishing of office furniture for use county-wide to provide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR

Rainen Business Interiors
N. Kansas City, MO

Kansas City Stationery
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Block House
Red Lion, PA


and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Rainen Business Interiors of North Kansas City, MO for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached recapitulation; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
