Body
WHEREAS, Louis Russell Disney, a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 24, has successfully completed all requirements to attain scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
WHEREAS, Louie, a scout for ten years, has served as patrol leader, assistant patrol leader, and Green Bar; and,
WHEREAS, he earned 32 merit badges, the French Interpreter's Stripe, and the Sam Reaves Honor Boy Scout award; and,
WHEREAS, his Eagle Scout project was to disassemble and reassemble a 20 foot fiberglass cowboy for the Children's Museum of Kansas City; and,
WHEREAS, he attended the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation for five years, the Packard High Adventure Camp in Colorado and the National Jamboree 2001; and,
WHEREAS, Louie's proud parents are Kathy and David Disney of Kansas City, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, Louie will be recognized at his Eagle Court of Honor to be held at the Discovery Center, 4750 Troost Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 16, 2002, at 2:30 pm; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Louis Russell Disney upon successfully completing all requirements to attain scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
