Body
WHEREAS, the Fred Arbanas Golf Course at Longview Lake in the Parks and Recreation Department is in need of pro shop articles for resale; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1030.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing requests authorization for the purchase of pro shop articles for resale by the Parks and Recreation Department from Nike USA and Acushnet/Titleist Company; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has determined that the items to be purchased are proprietary articles not available in a competitive market; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County twelve-month term and supply contracts with Nike USA, of Dallas, TX, and Acushnet/Titleist Company of Fairhaven, MA, for the purchase of pro shop articles for resale by the Parks and Recreation Department, as proprietary purchases; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
