Body
WHEREAS, the County desires to contract for landfill services for the disposal of solid waste for use by the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing, pursuant to Section 1040.02 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, recommends a contract for these services within the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, another government which has quoted a price lower than a private vendor; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the purchase from another government be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the purchase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
