Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 142-95 for the furnishing of an enclosed storage system for LAN equipment for use by the Management Information Systems Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest two bids thereon the following:
VENDOR BID
Concepts for Business $6,997.25
Lenexa, KS
Applied Systems $8,975.00
Kansas City, KS
and,
WHEREAS, the low bidder, Concepts for Business of Lenexa, KS, has since advised that it made a pricing error on its bid and has withdrawn the bid; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Applied Systems of Kansas City, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best remaining bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
