Body
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has certain surplus vehicles, further described and itemized in the lists attached hereto marked as Exhibit "A," that have become unusable and obsolete; and,
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department recommends the transfer of ownership of vehicle 915 ('01 Ford Crown Victoria) and vehicle 939 ('00 Ford Crown Victoria) to the Blue Springs School District Department of Public Safety and vehicle 943 ('00 Ford Crown Victoria) and vehicle 975 ('01 Ford Taurus) to the Prairie Township Fire Protection District; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the above-described property from the Sheriff's Department, be declared surplus, and that the Director of Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it pursuant to Chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
