Body
WHEREAS, the Reverend James Allen Terrance, Jr., Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church of Kansas City, Missouri, will celebrate his 10th anniversary as pastor with an anniversary service April 14, 2013; and,

WHEREAS, Rev. Terrance's mission as pastor is to empower people to cultivate their God-given talents by developing and building a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; and,

WHEREAS, Rev. Terrance is a native of Baton Rouge, LA, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science In Liberal Studies from Southern University and a Masters of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary; and,

WHEREAS, Rev. Terrance has a passion for all people, which is demonstrated through outreach ministry and international mission trips to such places as Haiti and Southeast Asia; and,


WHEREAS, as Pastor of Friendship Baptist Church, Rev. Terrance serves a congregation that is dedicated to meeting the needs of the Greater Kansas City community; and,

WHEREAS, Rev. Terrance serves as an instructor for the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education, and is a member of the National Baptist Convention, U.S.A., Inc., the Missionary Baptist State Convention of Missouri, the New Era Baptist District Association, the Kansas City Baptist Minister's Union, the Urban League of Greater Kansas City, the NAACP, and the Beason Divinity School Southeast Regional Bible Institute Advisory Group; and,

WHEREAS, additionally, Rev. Terrance is honored to be recognized among The Kansas City Globe's 100 Most Influential African-Americans; and,

WHEREAS, Rev. Terrance is married to Prentice Adrian Horton Terrance and they are the proud parents of two sons, Jalen Ashton and Ty...
