Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Board of Services for the Developmentally Disabled (EITAS) of Kansas City, MO, desires to donate to the County for use by the Parks and Recreation Department, surplus property, specifically three (3) buses described as follows:
VIN No. 1FDXE45S95HB08803, 2005 Ford
VIN No. 1FDXE45S46DA28401, 2006 Ford
VIN No. 1FDX345S13HB38116, 2005 Ford
and,
WHEREAS, the County, under article II section 16. (21) of the Jackson County Charter, is empowered to acquire property for County purposes, and the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends accepting the said donation; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be authorized to accept the donation of three (3) buses declared surplus property; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to give effect to the intent of this Resolution.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
