WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to cover the costs of Family Court Division's "Child Protection Center," whereby this project reduces the trauma of the investigation process to the child and to improve the multi-disciplinary team approach to child sexual abuse and physical abuse; and,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 2000 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
