Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends the execution of an Off-System Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program Agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein, whereunder the County will be reimbursed up to 80% of the replacement cost of the Austerman Road Bridge through a Federal Highway Administration grant administered by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission; and,
WHEREAS, the engineer's estimate of the grant amount is $400,000.00, which will be made available when the County bids, awards, and constructs this project; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute the attached Agreement on behalf of the County.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
