ORDINANCE 2809, June 9, 1998

Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District to "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 9.7 ñ acres generally located at the southwest corner of Pink Hill Road and Slaughter Road and specifically described as a parcel of land in the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 21, Township 49, Range 30 in Jackson County, Missouri; commencing at the northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 21; thence S 87 48' 23" E, along the north line of said quarter section, a distance of 1980.49 feet to the POB; thence continuing S 87 48' 23" E along said north line, a distance of 626.83 feet to the northeast corner of said northwest quarter; thence S 01 01' 32" W along the east line of said quarter section, a distance of 677.18 feet; thence N 87 44' 20" W, a distance of 627.31 feet; thence N 01 03' 57" E, a distance of 636.43 feet to the POB.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Vincent and Lois VanTrump (RZ-98-103), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 21, 1998, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
