WHEREAS, Ada Hill was born in Morrilton, Arkansas, one of seven children of Willie and Mable Wilson; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Hill graduated from Sumner High School in Kansas City, Kansas, in 1951, and began her professional career as a psychiatric assistant at St. Mary's Hospital where she worked f r twelve years; and,
WHEREAS, her career in the Kansas City, Missouri School District began in the Food Service Department and she has worked at Douglass, Pershing, Willard, and Bancroft schools and T.A.P.C.; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Hill is retiring as cafeteria manager at C. A. Franklin Elementary School after twenty-five years of service; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Hill and her husband Calvin, have been married forty-three years and they have one daughter Sheila, and one granddaughter, Alysia; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Ada Hill on her twenty-five years of service with the Kansas City, Missouri School District, and wishes her well on her retirement.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of he Legislature.
