Body
WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City, has requested $770,000.00 from its County Urban Road System (CURS) account to cover the cost of its Asphalt Overlay Program for various roads in Kansas City; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the project proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Kansas City and the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that, pursuant to chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $770,000.00 to the City of Kansas City for expenditures on its 2010 Asphalt Overlay Program.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
