Body
WHEREAS, the City of Sugar Creek, Missouri, has requested the use of $12,869.00 from its CURS refund account for use on the improvement of certain streets in the City of Sugar Creek; and,
WHEREAS, the Legislature finds that the road maintenance project proposed by the City will benefit the citizens of Sugar Creek and the citizens of Jackson County; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that pursuant to Chapter 28, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to issue a check in the amount of $12,869.00 to the City of Sugar Creek for use in the City's 1994 road maintenance program.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of he Legislature.
