Body
WHEREAS, Sally Robinson is retiring after thirty-one years as a teacher at Holy Cross Catholic School in Northeast Kansas City, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, Sally is highly regarded by all parents and staff at Holy Cross Catholic School and was always valiantly involved in whatever was asked of her; and,
WHEREAS, Sally is a great advocate and champion of students no mater their ability, creed, or status; and,
WHEREAS, Sally is always the first to volunteer and the last to quit, and no matter the challenge she is always willing to make a second effort to ensure all children will succeed; and,
WHEREAS, Sally was raised in Iola, Kansas, where she married her husband, Daniel Robinson, and the two later moved to Kansas City, Missouri, to raise their six children; and,
WHEREAS, Sally and her husband, Dan, are retiring to be trusted volunteers in several programs at their new parish, St. Therese in Parkville, Missouri, and plan to continue to be volunteers at Holy Cross School; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby recognizes and congratulates Sally Robinson for her outstanding dedication and service to Holy Cross Catholic School throughout the years and extends best wishes for her future endeavors upon her retirement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
