Body
WHEREAS, two water heaters which supply hot water to the laundry facilities and the kitchen in the Jackson County Detention Center Annex have failed and are not adequately producing hot water; and,
WHEREAS, the Corrections Department proposes to replace the failed water heaters via the term and supply contract with K.C. Windustrial awarded by Resolution 16562, dated March 10, 2008; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to cover the costs of replacing these water heaters; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2008 Health Fund:
