Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4128, dated August 3, 2009 the Legislature did appropriate $50,858.00 from the fund balance of the 2009 Homeless Assistance Fund and authorized the execution of an agreement with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division, in acceptance of the State of Missouri's FFY 2009 Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG); and,

WHEREAS, by Resolution 17010, dated September 21, 2009, the Legislature did authorize the County Executive to execute Agreements with certain outside agencies to provide various public services allowed by the ESG award, in the amounts indicated below:

Hillcrest Ministries $28,620
Hope House $20,042
New House $21,020
Rose Brooks $ 7,000



WHEREAS, the original ESG proposal included a commitment from each outside agency to provide the appropriate local match for its portion of the ESG award which requires that each authorized Agreement be reduced by 50% of the amount indicated above; and,

WHEREAS, the agreement amounts authorized by Resolution 17010, dated September 21, 2009, should therefore be reduced to the following amounts:

Rose Brooks $ 3,500
