WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Buckner Tarsney Road Bridge Project, Parcel #1, No. 2264, to acquire a right-of-way and temporary construction easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of certain property owners, Steven W. and Debra K. Gildehaus, in the amount of $37,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to convey said right-of-way and temporary construction easement, and to settle the claim for damages and have executed conveyances in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $37,000.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance issue a check in the amount of $37,000.00 in the name of Steven W. and Debra K. Gildehaus, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, Kaye Merkle, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
