A RESOLUTION awarding a ten (10) month term and supply contract for the furnishing of environmental services for use by Facilities Management and the Parks and Recreation Departments to Kingston Environmental Services, Inc., of Kansas City, MO under the terms and conditions of an existing government contract of the City of Kansas City, MO. This award is based on an as needed basis and does not obligate Jackson County to pay any specific amount. The availability of funds for specific purchases is subject to annual appropriation.

Body
WHEREAS, the Departments of Facilities Management
and Parks and Recreation have a continuing need for environmental services; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 1040.4 and 1064., of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Purchasing recommends the award of a ten (10) month term and supply contract for the furnishing of environmental services for use by Facilities Management and the Parks and Recreation Department to Kingston Environmental Services, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, under the terms and conditions of an existing government contract of the City of Kansas City, MO, Contract No. PA-4467-05; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made to Kingston Environmental Services, Inc., of Kansas City, MO., and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make payments to the extent that sufficient appropriations are available.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
