Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has requested a transfer of funds within the 2006 Special Road and Bridge Fund to allow rehabilitation to an additional twenty (20)+ miles of road by in-house methods of strip reconstruction; and,
WHEREAS, said road rehabilitation is in the best interest of the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Jackson County, Missouri; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary in order to place the necessary funds in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer from the 2006 Special Road and Bridge Fund be and is hereby made:
