Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department has a need for golf carts, a beverage cart, a range picker, and accessories equipment for use at the Fred Arbanas Golf Course; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for this equipment to E-Z-Go Division of Textron, Inc., of Augusta GA, at a total four-year cost commencing in 2021 not to exceed $227,472.00, under the terms and conditions of National IPA Contract No. 161101, an existing government contract; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing further recommends award to PNC Equipment Finance, LLC, of Cincinnati, Ohio, for the lease financing of this equipment; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the purchases under the terms and conditions set forth in National IPA Contract No. 161101, an existing government contract, due to the volume discounts offered to large entities; and,
WHEREAS, this award is effective January 1, 2021, with the availability of funds subject to annual appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,
