Body
WHEREAS, overtime costs in the Corrections Department have been incurred at a pace greater than anticipated in the County's 2002 annual budget; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer within the 2002 General Fund is necessary to provide additional funding to meet these costs as estimated for the remainder of the 2002 calendar year; and,
WHEREAS, this transfer will restore the Corrections Department's overtime account to its approximate level in calendar year 2001; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the following transfer within the 2002 General Fund be and hereby is made:
