BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "single-family residential" (a pre - UDC classification) district and the "GB" (General Business) District so that there will be transferred from single family residential to District GB a tract of land described as follows:
Description: A 0.5 ± acre lot generally south of Colbern Road on the west side of Lake Lotawana Road and legally described as Lot 9 in Storm's Center, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri lying in the NW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 of Section 29, Township 48, Range 30 aka 9516 Lake Lotawana Drive.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Aaron Day (RZ-2002-275), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on July 18, 2002, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
