Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 13075, dated January 31, 2000, the County did enter into an Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement with the City of Lee's Summit ("City") for the sharing of the costs of the Colbern Road Phase II Improvements Project, No. 2411; and,

WHEREAS, thereafter, pursuant to Resolution 15630, dated September 19, 2005, the County did entered into Modification #1 to the Agreement by which the County received reimbursement from the City for additional costs from the City's portion of County Urban Road System (CURS) funds; and,

WHEREAS, the County and the City now desire to share certain additional costs of the project in the same manner as all other costs to date, 50/50; and,

WHEREAS, the City has authorized the execution of the proposed modification, a copy of which is attached; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Modification No. 2 to the Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement with the City of Lee's Summit, MO.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
