Body
WHEREAS, Phuong Thi recently graduated as the valedictorian of Lincoln Prep High School; and,
WHEREAS, Phuong graduated with a 4.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale; and,
WHEREAS, during high school, Phuong was a member of the National Honor Society and an International Baccalaureate student; and,
WHEREAS, Phuong also gives back to the community, volunteering at Day Camp for the Don Bosco Center and at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event; and,
WHEREAS, Phuong plans to attend Baylor University in Waco, Texas, in the fall and major in biology; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature congratulates Phuong Thi on her designation as valedictorian of Lincoln Prep High School.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
