IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of real estate located at 3rd & Gillis and 3016 E. 19th Terr. in Kansas City. Intro RESOLUTION #10318, May 16, 1994 INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that certain county-owned real estate, formerly used as vest pocket parks, located at 3rd & Gillis and 3016 E. 19th Terr., be declared surplus and offered for sale in accordance with the provisions of the Jackson County Code; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the real estate located at 3rd & Gillis and 3016 E. 19th Terr., in Kansas City, be and hereby is declared surplus; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Executive and Purchasing Director be and hereby are authorized to undertake the disposal of said real estate either via negotiated sale to the United States, State of Missouri, or a political subdivision of the state, or through a formal public bid procedure, as set out in 1101 and 1110 of the Jackson County Code. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
