Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to ยงยง249.430 et seq., RSMo 1994, the Legislature did, on January 4, 1982, adopt Ordinance 929, creating Sewer District 99, known as Countryside West Sewer District, which district is generally located north of Highway 40, south of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad right-of-way, west of Lake Tapawingo, and east of Bellemere Road; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of the Public Works Department has determined that it is in the best interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County that the boundary of said district be extended to allow for the construction of sanitary sewerlines in an area generally located adjacent to the southeast boundary of said district, as is more specifically as follows:
All that part of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 34, Township 49,
Range 31 in Jackson County, Missouri described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of
said Section 34, said point being South 01o 56' 26" West, 323.43 feet South of the South line of Lake Tapawingo, a subdivision in said Jackson County;
thence South 43o 03' 34" East, 42.42 feet; thence South 01o 56' 26" West and parallel with the West line of said East 1/2 , 315.78 feet; thence South 01o 38' 45" West, 289.40 feet to a point on the Northerly right-of-way line of U.S. Highway 40 (westbound); thence South 40o 13' 51" East along said right-of- way 847.09 feet to a point of curve; thence Southeasterly along a curve to the left having a radius of 1,116.13 feet and tangent to the last described course, 100.37 feet; thence North 07o 23' 07" East, 1,045.25 feet; thence North 81o 19' 36" West, 730.03 feet; thence North 01o 56' 26" East, 227.79 Feet, thence North 88o 09'...
