Body
WHEREAS, the County has a need for a temporary construction easement and permanent drainage easement in connection with the Woods Chapel Road Project, No. 2293; and,

WHEREAS, the owner of the required property, Savanna Ridge Development, LLC, has agreed to convey to the County, acting for the City of Lee's Summit, the requested easements, copies of which are attached hereto, for payment of the sum of $40,703.00, as itemized below:
$19,262.00 96,331 sq. ft. temporary construction easement
@ $0.1999564
$ 1,441.00 3,602 sq. ft permanent draining easement @ $0.40
$20,000.00 Casing of water and sewer lines under existing roadway
$40,703.00 TOTAL

and,

WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Works recommends acceptance of the easements upon the specified terms; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached temporary construction easement and permanent drainage easement, be and hereby are accepted and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is directed to issue a lump sum payment in the amount of $40,703.00 to Savanna Ridge Development, LLC, in consideration for said easements, pursuant to the specific direction of the Director of the Department of Public Works.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
