Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecutor's Office has a continuing need for temporary investigative services for the Independence office while the investigator assigned to that office is on medical leave for the period of February 16, 2010, through March 26, 2010; and,
WHEREAS, Glen Newton is familiar with the work involved and has worked with the current investigator on the particular job duties; and,
WHEREAS, this addendum is necessary to continue the service of subpoenas and summons; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County an Addendum to the Professional Services Agreement with Glen Newton of Sugar Creek, MO, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
