Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Family Court has surplus personal property, to wit a 1988 Chevrolet van, VIN#2GAGG35K3J4113489, that has become excess property due to its damage in a motor vehicle accident; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has declared this property surplus; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Purchasing is hereby authorized to dispose of the Chevrolet van, by way of transfer to Allied Insurance Group of Des Moines, Iowa, in settlement of a claim in the amount of $4,300.00.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
