Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 1-95 for the furnishing of small parts washer service for use by the Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest two bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR

Safety Kleen Corp.
Independence, MO

Industrial Service Corp.
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Safety Kleen Corp. of Independence, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached analysis; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
