Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. A conditional use permit for a period of twenty-five (25) years to continue operation of a gun club, firing ranges and other activities involving firearms on a 60 ± acre parcel, is hereby renewed as to a certain tract of land described as follows:
Description: Description: A 60 ± acre tract of land generally located west of Perdue Road on the south side of Alley Road and more specifically described as all of the northeast quarter (NE 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) and the north half (N 1/2) of the southeast quarter (SE 1/4) of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of Section 4, Township 47N, Range 30 West in Jackson County, Missouri aka 29709 E. Alley Road.


Section 2. The conditional use permit granted by this ordinance is subject to the following condition:

1) Hours of weapon firing on outdoor facilities shall be limited to 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. with outdoor lighting on the firing ranges to be extinguished by 10:30 p.m.

Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Lake Lotawana Sportsmen's Club, Inc., (CU-2001-160), requesting approval embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended approval of this application in a public hearing on December 20, 2001, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
