IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI

 

Title

A RESOLUTION declaring certain County-owned equipment as surplus property and authorizing its disposal pursuant to Chapter 11 of the Jackson County Code.

RESOLUTION NO. 22104, November 17, 2025

 

INTRODUCED BY Charlie Franklin, County Legislator

 

Body

 WHEREAS, the 16th Circuit Court IT Department has IT equipment that was previously used, has become obsolete, or is no longer functional; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has recommended that said IT equipment be declared surplus property, unusable for County purposes, and disposed of in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11 of the Jackson County Code; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the equipment described and itemized in the declaration forms attached hereto and made a part hereof is hereby declared surplus property, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is hereby authorized and directed to dispose of said property in the manner provided by Chapter 11 of the Jackson County Code, 1984.

 

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
