WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 23-96 for the furnishing of window cleaning services for use by the Facilities Management Department to provide for departmental needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

Quality Maintenance Janitorial, Inc. $15,480.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Kelly Window Cleaning $17,760.00
Independence, MO

Countryside Maintenance $18,105.00
Lenexa, KS

BGM Maintenance $19,864.50
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Quality Maintenance Janitorial, Inc., of Kansas City, MO for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
