WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the County Howell Road Bridge Project (No. 2298), to acquire a right-of-way and permanent drainage easement over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of William H. and Teresa A. Roberts, in the amount of $900.00; and,
WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to convey said right-of-way and permanent drainage easement, and to settle the claim for damages and have executed conveyances in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $900.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance issue a check in the amount of $900.00 in the names of William H. and Teresa A. Roberts, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, c/o Kaye Merkle, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
