Body
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has surplus county personal property, as described in the attached documentation, that has become excess to the County's need; and,
WHEREAS, these items have become obsolete and unusable; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends that said property be declared surplus; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the above-described personal property is declared surplus and that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it pursuant to Chapter 11, Jackson County Code.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
