Body
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office Detention Center has a need for two Kubota utility vehicles for daily use; and,

WHEREAS, the utility vehicles would include three-year warranties, setup, and installation; and,

WHEREAS, the Sheriff and the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommend the award of the contract to Coleman Equipment, Inc., of Lee's Summit, MO under the terms and conditions of Sourcewell Contract No. 112624, an existing competitively bid government contract, at an actual cost to the County in the amount of $57,751.00; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4, Jackson County Code, 1984, the Sheriff and the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing recommend the award under the existing competitively bid government contract that will allow the County to take advantage of significant discounts offered to larger entities; now therefore,


BE IT RESOLVED that award be made under the existing competitively bid government contract as recommended by the Sheriff and Interim Director Finance and Purchasing and that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
