Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Public Safety provides grant funding for the Prosecuting Attorney's Victim Services Volunteer Program; and,
WHEREAS, this program serves crime victims; and,
WHEREAS, the total state share of the grant is $33,652.00 with the local match of $8,413.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the attached grant application, incorporated herein by reference.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
