Body
WHEREAS, the City of Kansas City, MO, has requested two permanent water main easements in connection with the Little Blue Trace Park to place a 12" water main under portions of the Little Blue Trace Park property; and,
WHEREAS, when in place, these lines will not affect the land surface or vegetation; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, has reviewed and approved the easements; and,
WHEREAS, to grant these easements, the County and City of Kansas City have negotiated the attached Agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the attached Water Main Easements are hereby approved, and that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached Water Main Agreement with the City of Kansas City.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
