Body
WHEREAS, Olive Gann will celebrate her 100th birthday on June 7, 2003; and,
WHEREAS, Olive was born in Pulaski County, Missouri on June 7, 1903, and currently resides in an Independence nursing home; and,
WHEREAS, she shared seventy years of marriage with Clifford Gann; and,
WHEREAS, Olive and Clifford had six children, daughters Lena, Opal, Lorene, and Celeste, son Leo, and one son who died at birth; and,
WHEREAS, Olive has been a Solid as a Rock Democrat since the Depression; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby Congratulates Olive Gann upon celebrating her 100th birthday.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
