Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited interest and qualifications on Request for Statement of Interest/Qualifications No. 23-06 for the furnishing of electronic home monitoring services for use by the Office of Jackson County Population Control; and,

WHEREAS, a total of 16 solicitations were distributed and 3 responses were received (one of which was a no bid) as follows;
VENDORS

BI Incorporated
Boulder, CO

General Security Services
Minneapolis, MN

and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the responses submitted, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the contract be awarded to BI Incorporated of Boulder, CO, as the most qualified response; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the County Executive be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award, in a form to be negotiated and approved by the County Counselor; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using agencies are contained in the annual County budget.
