WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written proposals on Request for Proposals No. 8-98 for the award of a license to provide concessions services at the Adair Park softball complex; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two proposals thereon the following:
BIDDER MONTHLY FEE
Ron and Karen Bridges $2,575.00
Independence, MO
Charles Franklin $2,405.00
Independence, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Ron and Karen Bridges of Independence, MO, for the reason that they have submitted the highest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that a license to provide concessions services at the Adair Park softball complex is awarded to Ron and Karen Bridges of Independence, MO, for a monthly fee payable to the County in the amount of $2,575.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to execute any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
