Body
WHEREAS, Molly Wichman recently earned a pro card from the International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB) after an overall first place finish at the 2013 National Physique Committee Fitness Nationals Competition held July 6 in Teaneck, NJ; and,
WHEREAS, competitors at the event are judged on a physique competition and on a two minute freestyle fitness routine composed of strength, flexibility, and energizing moves choreographed to music; and,
WHEREAS, Molly won her title in the Class C fitness division and was awarded an IFBB pro card making her eligible to compete as a professional athlete; and,
WHEREAS, Molly made her professional debut at the IFBB Tampa Pro Bodybuilding Championships in Tampa, FL, on August 8 - 10, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, Molly and her husband Robert, own the Life Transformations Fitness Center in Lee's Summit; and,
WHEREAS, Molly is a member of the Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce and is the 2013 Chair of the Healthcare Committee; and,
WHEREAS, Molly's husband, Robert, and their son, Jackson, both are justifiably proud of her accomplishment; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Molly Wichman on her first place finish at the 2013 National Physique Committee Fitness Nationals Competition and on her designation as a professional fitness competitor.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
