Body
WHEREAS, the County has been awarded a grant in the amount of $132,990 from the Missouri Department of Mental Health to fund the County's Substance Abuse Traffic Offender's (SATOP) Program; and,
WHEREAS, this grant is subject to a $40,713 local match; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1998 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund is necessary to place the grant and matching funds in the proper accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1998 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
