IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION declaring a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice four-door sedan as surplus personal property and authorizing its disposal by way of donation to the Independence School District. Intro RESOLUTION #12003, January 5, 1998 INTRODUCED BY Dixie M. Flynn, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Department has certain personal property, to wit a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice four-door sedan, VIN #1G1BL5379MW247549, that has become excess to the County's; and, WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has declared this property surplus and recommends its disposal by way of donation to the Independence School District; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the above-referenced personal property and hereby is declared surplus property and the Purchasing Director be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it by way of donation to the Independence School District...Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
