Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a 5.5 ñ acre tract of land described as follows:

ALL THAT PART OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SECTION 4, TOWNSHIP 48, RANGE 30 IN JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:

BEGINNING AT A POINT ON THE WEST LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 4, SAID POINT BEING 986.13 FEET, NORTH 0 03'29" EAST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 4; THENCE CONTINUING NORTH 0 03'29" EAST ALONG SAID WEST LINE, 180.00 FEET; THENCE NORTH 89 27'18"EAST, 1322.18 FEET TO A POINT ON THE EAST LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 4; ;THENCE SOUTH 0 12'07" EAST ALONG SAID EAST LINE, 180.00 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 89 27'18" WEST AND PARALLEL WITH THE SOUTH LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF THE NORTHEAST 1/4 OF SAID SECTION 4, 1323.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 5.465 ACRES, EXCEPT THAT PART IN ROADS.


Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of John Steiner (RZ-99-167), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on September 16, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaini...
