Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 2796, dated March 30, 1998, the Legislature did appropriate $58,212.00, representing grant funding received by the Jackson County Drug Task Force from the United States Executive Office of the President's Midwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Investigative Support Center for the purpose of allowing the Task Force to contract with an intelligence analyst; and,

WHEREAS, Midwest HIDTA has now agreed to make available additional funding of $500.00 per month to provide for an automobile allowance for the analyst; and,

WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to effect this arrangement; therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1998 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund to cover additional funding received on the grant for the Jackson County Drug Task Force funded by the United States Executive Office of the President's Midwest HIDTA Investigative Support Center:
