Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Election Board building located at 215 N. Liberty, Independence, MO, has a need of a roof replacement due to water leakage resulting in damage to the ceilings, walls, floors, and furniture; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract for this equipment to Delta Commercial Roofing of Kansas City, Kansas, at a cost to the County not to exceed $68,700.00, under the terms and conditions set forth in Sixteenth Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, Family Court Division Contract No. 4501502615, an existing government contract; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to cover the costs of this replacement; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2016 General Fund:
