Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 15081, dated June 6, 2004, enter into a contract with Superior Bowen Asphalt Company of Kansas City, MO, in the actual amount of $336,200.18, for the 2004 Pavement Maintenance Project (Phase III), No. 3003; and,

WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to obtain an impound lot for vehicle storage by the Sheriff's Department and said change order will result in an increase of $28,386.00 for a new total contract authorization of $496,921.05; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Change Order No. 1 to the afore said contract is approved and the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the change order on behalf of the County; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, except final payment, on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
