AN RESOLUTION transferring $28,800.00 within the 2012 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund and authorizing the County Executive to execute an Agreement with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for the furnishing of a Housing Inspector for the Prosecuting Attorney's Office's Drug Abatement Response Team (DART) Program, at a cost to the County not to exceed $28,800.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's Office's Drug Abatement Response Team (DART) Program, is a multi-jurisdictional and collaborative initiative to target and close down drug houses within the city; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecutor's Office recommends an Agreement with the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for the furnishing of a Housing Inspector assigned to the DART Program, at a cost to the County not to exceed $28,800.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City's Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department will provide the Housing Inspector to assist and support the Prosecuting Attorney's DART Program by conducting inspections for housing and code violations on suspected drug houses and pursuing law enforcement proceedings; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place the necessary funds in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2012 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
